Training of neural networks

The IMS 360 enables the teaching of neural networks in a unique way. At the push of a button, the system generates images of the placed article from different viewing angles. In addition, dimensions, weight and a 3D model are generated. This “holistic” acquisition provides a fundamental basis for training networks for identification or classification, for example. The reproducible recording conditions inside the scan system make procedures and algorithms comparable. An example from practice is our Kaptura-App. Objects are identified by appearance and context. The data of the IMS 360 are used to train the neural network.
